The St. Ambrose faculty, students, and Board members are the sort of Christians I am proud to support.

Admissions Policy
St. Ambrose Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. Due to the unique nature of St. Ambrose Academy, space is very limited. Interested parents should contact the school as soon as possible to obtain an admission packet.

Application Procedure
Students applying to St. Ambrose go through the following procedure:

  • preliminary interview with parents and child(ren)
  • submission of Registration forms and payment of Registration Fee
  • evaluation of the student's work, report cards, and placement test to assess the student's ability to perform on grade level; re-interview with parents
  • notice of acceptance decision by the Academy
  • completion and signing of the Application for Admission form and Statement of Policy, stating agreement with the policies of St. Ambrose Academy
  • payment of remaining tuition and fees

St. Ambrose Academy is open to children from families that are prepared to agree to the following terms and conditions for participation:

  • They believe in and support the Catholic mission of St. Ambrose Academy.
  • They intend to be informed, supportive, and active participants in their children's education.
  • They will maintain communication between home and school.
  • They will meet their financial obligations to the school.

You can explore the school at our Open House

All students are initially on probation. Probation is maintained until it is observed that the student is able to function in the program, and that the home gives the student direction and support in the area of homework and requires from the student obedience to school rules and policy.

Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis. St. Ambrose uses an independent needs-assessment service to determine a family's scholarship needs. The financial aid procedures begin after a student is admitted to St. Ambrose Academy. Our goal is that no qualified student be turned away from St. Ambrose for want of funds.
