Expansion Plans

Since 2004, St. Ambrose Academy has been housed in the education wing of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Parish in Madison. Under the terms of a conditional use permit granted by the City of Madison, enrollment may grow up to 140 students in this space. The target size of the combined middle school and high school enrollment is 210 students, accommodating 30 students in each grade. The total enrollment is projected to exceed 140 by about fall of 2014.

In the next five years we are undertaking a rapid but measured expansion of our faculty to accommodate our growing enrollment. This will enable us to refine our curriculum and employ our teachers better in the areas of their expertise. At the same time we are underaking a facilities search and will secure any necessary regulatory approvals and complete building renovations required for moving into the new facilities by fall of 2014.
