Guardians for Life
The Guardians for Life is a student-run pro-life club at St. Ambrose Academy. Guardians for Life offers students the opportunity to get involved in a number of pro-life initiatives, including assisting at the Sharing Center (housed in the Catholic Multicultural Center) two-three times a year, participating as a prayer warrior outside Planned Parenthood at least once during 40 Days for Life, assisting St. Thomas Aquinas with its annual Mother’s Day diaper drive, and attend and assist with other pro-life events, rallies, and groups as available.
High School Student Council
The St. Ambrose Student Council includes elected representatives from each high school class. Student Council projects throughout the year include planning Catholic Schools Week spirit contests, school dances, etc.
Any High School student is eligible to participate in Model U.N. Our Model U.N. team is going strong at St. Ambrose Academy, and our team continues to grow. Our delegates have won awards at each conference they’ve attended. At the University of Notre Dame, our delegation was named the “Best Small School Delegation” in early 2017.
Students are able to participate in the design of our 2016-2017 St. Ambrose Academy yearbook. All interested students can work with Yearbook Advisor Beth Ptak to document this year and our life at St. Ambrose Academy.
