What is the Faculty Lecture Series? It’s a taste of classical education for grown-ups!

Inspired by the words of St. Matthew’s gospel, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven,” St. Ambrose Academy shares the talents of our remarkable faculty as part of a Faculty Lecture Series each school year.

Free and open to the public, these lectures take place on weeknights at parishes throughout the Madison Diocese. Topics have ranged from art and beauty to mathematics and biochemistry.

To close out the 2015-2016 St. Ambrose Academy Faculty Lecture Series, St. Ambrose faculty member Michael Kwas gave historical context to the St. Ambrose musical production of The Sound of Music in his lecture before the matinee performance on Sunday, April 10, 2016. We look forward to providing more fun and enriching evenings in 2016-2017.

If your parish is interested in hosting a lecture in 2016-2017, please contact Bridget Wittwer in the Development Office at (608) 370-9811.
